From the minute the oven was switched on the fan made a horrendous rattling noise. An engineers was sent out to look at it but I suspect he just bent it and left. A week later the rattle , if I can call it that , was as loud as ever.

The build quality is not fantastic and in some places shoddy. The metal trim at the bottom of the door has a rough edge not what you expect.

Having to close the oven door to operate the grill is a bit anoying, I suppose that is for energy efficiency, but it does make seeing what is going on difficult.

When it does work it does heat up quickly and retains heat for a long time afterwards testement to the insulation.

All in all I regret it as the fan is still not working properly and I suspect that they will continue to fiddle with it rather than fix it.

This oven came as built-in with home. Otherwise would never touch it. Noisy, noisy, noisy (as is Smeg hood). Will get rid of asap.
