NEW WORLD GAS COOKER 50GSO

I have had this model cooker for 3 months and have had continual problems with both oven and grill. The oven overheats resulting in burnt food or at best overcooked food. Using a lower setting does not work as food is then under cooked. The grill cooks so unevenly that I have had to buy a toaster! A New World engineer fitted a new thermostat which helped a little. A second visit from the engineer did nothing further to improve matters and resulted in him saying “ the cooker is working to specification”. After this New World have washed their hands of the matter. After using gas cookers for all of my 53 years of married life this is the worst one I have ever had.
The cooker is now waiting removal to the tip and I am having to pay out for another model.
