Hotpoint FFA97 Bottom Fridge Freezer (User Review)

Very pleased with appliance, but as others have said it is very noisy and makes you jump occasionally.
However mine is only approx 3 years old and already the bottom door rack has a broken lug, which means I am no longer able to use the bottom rack, which is annoying; all because Hotpoint decided to combine the lugs which hold the rack up within the moulding of the inside of the door....

Has issues concerning basic editing functionality that mean one should think twice before purchasing.
Its most crucial shortfall is that this device will not let you "split" video recordings on the HDD.
If you intend to do a mass transfer of those archive video 4/8 hour tapes, be prepared to have to press record and stop for each episode individually....

I think this appliance is not well designed. The pan supports at the front do not allow enough space for an average size saucepan stability when it is placed centrally on the gas ring. Also the prongs on the pan support were not well aligned which add to the stability problem. There would seem to me to be safety concerns here....

We have had this machine for about three and a half years. It has been repaired twice and has now developed a third fault. Soap dispenser and door leak slightly. The space between the drum and the shell is quite large and leads to the loss of small items into the machine. A bad buy overall. Would not ...

Samsung DVD R125 DVD Recorder (User Review)

My first one was taken back to the shop because of DVD playback problems (Stutter and freeze). The replacement one has identical problems. This only happens with certain discs but as it happens with new discs too, I conclude that it is not because of damage or scratches to the discs. The built in TV tuner gives a very poor image compared to the built in tuner of my TV (using the same aerial) and can not seem to get it to display in full 16:9 mode without thin black bars at the top/bottom....
